Classroom and Learning Support / Personal Care Support - Level 4

Full time temporary position commencing 27 January 2026

Applicants must: 

• hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check
• comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment
   

Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following criteria: 

• a knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school.
• Cert III Individual Support (Disability) OR a Nursing qualification, with relevant experience,
  is desirable.
• experience in working with children with special needs, including children on the autistic spectrum
• awareness of the needs of students with diagnosed allergies and training in the use of EpiPen
• ability to successfully implement programs and document progress regarding individual and/or small group support
• preparedness to undergo further training in aiding children with special needs
• supervise students in teaching and non-teaching periods
• experience in working collaboratively with teaching staff in a classroom environment
• Administer personal care for students when required, including;
  - toileting
  - feeding
  - medication administration
  - mobility support
  - lifting or physical support
