St Mary's Catholic College, Casino

St Mary’s Catholic College is a co-educational secondary school, situated in the beautiful Richmond Valley region of the Far North Coast of NSW.  The College is found on the Bundjalung land.  The College has a long history and is steeped in both the Marist and Mercy traditions.  The College offers a broad range of subjects to all students and delivers the Stage 6 courses in the Compressed Curriculum model.

We invite suitably qualified teachers to apply for the following position:

TEACHER

Full time, temporary position
Preference for Science, Ag, PE, and the ability to teach in the Senior years.
Commencing as soon as possible for the remainder of the school year

Applicants must: 

  • hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check
  • have full accreditation with NSW Educational Standards Authority (NESA)
  • comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment

Criteria: 

  • have a knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school
  • provide evidence of qualifications in a specialised faculty
  • able to work as a member of a committed team of professional teachers, dedicated to providing quality teaching and learning in partnership with the parent community
  • Preference for Science, Ag, PE, and the ability to teach in the senior years. These are currently preferred yet not essential, as we welcome all quality applicants to apply.
  • prepared to live up to our school motto to 'Reach Out' in Love & Service to others
  • prepared to fully immerse themselves in our SMCC and Casino Community
