St Finbarr's Catholic Primary School, Byron Bay
After a walk around the beautiful grounds of St Finbarr’s, you can see why there is an emphasis on Learning for Life. Upon leaving the classrooms, you pass through the Tiny Towns community village, through the extensive Nature Playspace onto the school oval and through the back gates for a ten-minute stroll to the beach. This is where classes can enjoy beach school activities with a focus on experiencing our beautiful environment for learning and enjoyment. We empower our students to strive for excellence and to transform their world by Loving like Jesus. St Finbarr’s strives to be a Christian family centred around Jesus Christ and his teachings. The Catholic Identity and tradition of the school, therefore, is characterised by Christian attitudes, values, and practices in a welcoming and caring environment. By modelling and teaching about respectful relationships, we strive to nurture and care for our community and for our land every day. We Grow together as friends.
