Newman Senior Technical College is one of the largest senior secondary Colleges on the NSW North Coast with one of the highest VET course enrolments in NSW. The College is a specialist facility providing students with opportunities to achieve their HSC and national qualifications. Classroom and Learning Support / Teacher Assistant - Trade
Part time temporary positions commencing 27 January 2026 for the school year with the potential to progress to a teaching career pathway

Applicants must:
Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following criteria:
- a knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school.
- experience in working with children with special needs, including children on the autistic spectrum
- awareness of the needs of students with diagnosed allergies and training in the use of EpiPen
- ability to assist students in all aspects of the curriculum, implement programs, document student adjustments and support students in the College Workplace Learning Program
- practical knowledge and experience in any of the listed trade industries (Automotive; Construction; Furniture Making) would be an advantage
- experience in working collaboratively with teaching staff in a classroom environment
