Farm Hand

Part time temporary position 30.4 hours per week commencing November 2025 until 26 January 2027

Applicants must:

• hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check
• comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment

Selection Criteria: 

• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work with all members of the school community both individually and as a member of a team
  
• Understanding of and capability to apply Workplace Health and Safety standards, especially in the use and application of cleaning equipment and materials
  
• Proven ability as an effective team member
  
• Physical fitness is an essential criterion as the role requires some lifting and physical labour
• Assist the Agriculture teacher with practical lessons:
  • Operating machinery
  • Handling livestock
  • Setting up/packing up for practical lessons
• Make basic repairs and maintain tools and equipment used in teaching Agriculture
• Basic Computer skills.
