McAuley Catholic College is situated in Grafton on the North Coast of NSW, and provides a Catholic education to students of the Clarence Valley. ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT
Full time temporary, 38 hours per week
for the 2025 school year

Applicants must:
- hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check
- have the ability to handle tasks with a high degree of confidentiality
- have a working knowledge of WH&S and equity in employment and a demonstrated capacity to apply related principles and policies
- comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment
Selection Criteria -
- provide evidence of well-developed communication, administrative and office skills with an ability to deal tactfully, confidentially and effectively with people at all levels with empathy
- capacity to show initiative with organisational and planning skills, and an ability to multitask while meeting pressing deadlines and competing priorities
- highly developed skills in a range of Microsoft and Google applications with willingness and ability to learn new systems
- effective time management with strong problem-solving skills
- ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of an existing team
- capacity to take direction
- previous experience in a school office and/or the understanding of the range of customer diversity of a school office setting
Desirable
- Current First Aid certificate
- have the ability to identify the Mission of a Catholic School and demonstrate Christian Values in dealings with staff
