St Mary’s Catholic College is a co-educational secondary school, situated in the beautiful Richmond Valley region of the Far North Coast of NSW.  The College is found on the Bundjalung land.  The College has a long history and is steeped in both the Marist and Mercy traditions.  The College offers a broad range of subjects to all students and delivers the Stage 6 courses in the Compressed Curriculum model.

We invite suitably qualified teachers to apply for the following position:

TEACHER - HSIE/English

Temporary, full time position for the period of 12 months depending on the commencement date. 

The commencement date for this position is negotiable due to the College's academic year commencing on 18 November 2024. Applicants can opt to commence on 18 November 2024 or 28 January, 2025.

Applicants must: 

  • hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check
  • have full accreditation with NSW Educational Standards Authority (NESA)
  • comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment

  • have a knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school
  • able to work as a member of a committed team of professional teachers, dedicated to providing quality teaching and learning in partnership with the parent community
  • a willingness to contribute positively as part of a professional learning community.
  • applicants need to be willing and able to participate in and support the religious dimension of the College
