St Francis Xavier Primary School, Woolgoolga is situated on the beautiful Mid-North Coast of NSW. Our School aims to provide quality learning and teaching for our 290 students, striving for excellence and their personal best. FINANCE ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT

Part-time temporary position, 2 days per week (15 hours per week)

Commencing 23 July, for the remainder of the 2024 school year with the possibility of extension

Applicants must: 

  • hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check
  • have the ability to handle tasks with a high degree of confidentiality
  • have a working knowledge of WH&S and equity in employment and a demonstrated capacity to apply related principles and policies
  • comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment
  • be efficient, act with initiative and willing to be flexible with hours when required.

Selection Criteria 

  • provide evidence of well-developed communication, administrative, and office skills with an ability to deal tactfully, confidently, and effectively with people at all levels
  • capacity to show initiative and demonstrate effective time management, organisational and planning skills with an ability to meet pressing deadlines, and competing priorities
  • possess highly developed skills in a range of Microsoft and Google applications with willingness and ability to learn new systems
  • possess an advanced knowledge of working with financial spreadsheets and utilising financial functions
  • demonstrate proficiency in maintaining cost reports and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • ability to undertake payroll and budget preparation.
