St John's College, Woodlawn



St John's College, Woodlawn is a co-educational Catholic Secondary College situated in a charming rural setting 5km from Lismore and just over half an hour from Ballina and Byron Bay. The current enrolments are around 770.



Full time permanent position commencing April 2024


Applicants must:

  • hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check
  • have a knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school
  • have the ability to handle tasks with a high degree of confidentiality
  • comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment

Selection Criteria

  • Administration/Business qualifications or proven experience in an administration role and/or a certificate in administration is desirable  (or willingness to enrol)
  • Working knowledge of WH&S and equity in employment and a demonstrated capacity to apply related principles and policies
  • Have the ability to identify the Mission of a Catholic School and demonstrate Christian values in dealings with children, parents, teachers and the general public
  • Previous bookkeeping and or accounting experience is essential
  • An understanding and ability to work with Google and Microsoft suite products
  • Have an excellent capacity and willingness to work as part of a busy team and/or work independently

Additional Information:

Your application should address the above criteria including the nomination of two (2) referees including a Parish Priest, Priest or Minister.
