St Joseph's College caters to approximately 800 students from Years 7 - 12, forming part of St Joseph's Parish, Tweed Heads. Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work with all members of the school community both individually and as a member of a team
- Understanding of and capability to apply Workplace Health and Safety standards, especially in the use and application of cleaning equipment and materials
- Proven ability as an effective team member
- Physical fitness is an essential criterion as the role requires some lifting and physical labour.
- Ability to understand the work environment by, learning quickly to use and maintain, cleaning equipment, materials and chemical supplies.
- Supports productive working relationships by carrying out cleaning duties with limited supervision and cooperatively participate as a team member.
- Displays personal drive and integrity.
- Awareness of the need for security in relation to rooms and buildings, personal property and equipment.
- Basic Computer skills.
